August 24 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 12 BMR Best of Week 12 - As the summer starts to wind down and fall approaches, we are still having some fantastic weather at the ranch and some fabulous guests making the most of it. Two families from the UK as well as some returners helped make up our 34 guests this week. It was still warm enough to swim at Jake's Lake and our cattle classes in the arena have proved most helpful when it comes to getting our herd in on Saturday's big cattle drive. August 17 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 11 Best of Week 11 - Phew! Our biggest week ever, 46 guests came to get their slice of BMR heaven, keeping Chef Bob on his toes, the wranglers on their game and the girls of housekeeping busy. Great to see returners Chris, Nicole, Chloe, Jason, Lana, Avery, Harper, Vicki and Hattie back and nice to make some new friends. August 12 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 10 BMR Best of Week 10 - They say in Colorado "If you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes!" and that was certainly the case this week as we started the week off with a thunderstorm that yielded a wonderful rainbow not long after. Guests this week cam from all corners of America plus the UK and Germany. Lots of long rides meant the hot tubs were popular to ease those sore muscles at the end of the day and making leather bracelets in the saloon was a bit hit with the kids too. ...
August 1 Blog BMR 2016 Summer Week 9 Best of BMR Week 9. 38 guests this week including 12 returners. A whole range of ages from 9 years old to 80 and a great range of riding skills too, from 'never evers' to English style hunter/jumpers and Western cutting horse riders. What they all had in common was a lot of energy. On the trails, at the shooting range, in the saloon (which was regularly rowdy!) and in the arena where the competition was fierce in the arena games.
